The Digital Foreign Direct Investment (DFDI) 2025 forum, hosted in Islamabad, Pakistan, from April 29 to 30, 2025, is a premier global event organized by the Ministry of IT & Telecommunication, Govt. of Pakistan, in collaboration with the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO).

The Digital Foreign Direct Investment Forum 2025 was a landmark success. Pakistan proudly hosted global investors, industry leaders, and policymakers to chart new pathways in digital investment. Together, we showcased our thriving tech ecosystem, celebrated record IT exports, and strengthened our position as the first nation to implement the Digital FDI Initiative. That milestone year proved Pakistan’s ability to convene the world and deliver meaningful outcomes for the global digital economy.

Building on that momentum, 2026 marks a new chapter. With Pakistan assuming the presidency of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), we are prepared to lead with vision and responsibility. Our focus is on deepening innovation, expanding strategic partnerships, and accelerating digital trade and investment to ensure inclusive growth for all.

What began in 2025 as a historic breakthrough will rise even higher in 2026. The Digital FDI Forum will be bigger, better, and more impactful, driving the next wave of digital transformation for Pakistan and the world.

DFDI 2025 was more than an event; it was proof that Pakistan’s digital economy is ready to compete on the world stage. We welcomed leaders from 16 countries, showcased our innovation, and demonstrated how forward‑thinking policies are reshaping the investment landscape. The surge in IT exports and the confidence of global investors reaffirmed that Pakistan is not just participating in the digital revolution, we are helping to drive it.

In 2026, our ambition is even greater. As Federal Minister for IT & Telecom, I see this year’s Forum as a platform to move from momentum to scale. The DFDI Forum 2026 will not simply repeat last year’s success; it will raise the bar, offering investors and innovators a clearer path to engage with Pakistan’s dynamic tech sector. Together, we will unlock opportunities that ensure our digital economy grows stronger, smarter, and more connected to the world.
